Where is your delivery system leaking time?
Eight questions across delivery, platform, product, and automation. You get a maturity band, the bottleneck we would attack first, and the service that maps to it. No email required.
(The model)
How the scoring works.
Each answer scores 0–3. Practice scores roll up into four domains so you can see which part of your delivery system is holding the others back.
Ad hoc
0 – 6Delivery depends on individual heroics. First priority: a baseline and a repeatable release path.
Managed
7 – 12Practices exist but are manual and inconsistent. First priority: automate the paths you already trust.
Defined
13 – 18Delivery is broadly reliable. First priority: shorten feedback and instrument outcomes.
Optimised
19 – 24Operating near the top of the model. First priority: unit economics and measured automation.
Delivery
Deploy frequency, release safety, incident response.
Platform
Infrastructure as code, environment parity, reproducibility.
Product
Delivery predictability, test coverage, codebase health.
Automation
Manual work, exception handling, measured AI assistance.
(FAQ)
Questions about the assessment.
01 What does this DevOps maturity assessment actually measure?
It scores eight practices across four domains — delivery, platform, product engineering, and automation — on a 0–3 scale, giving a total out of 24. It is designed to identify the single highest-leverage bottleneck rather than produce a vanity score.
02 Is my data stored or sent anywhere?
No. The assessment runs entirely in your browser. No answers are transmitted, stored, or shared. Closing the page discards the result.
03 How accurate is the result?
It reflects the answers you give, so it is only as accurate as your self-assessment. It is a conversation starter, not an audit. Real baselines come from measured data, which is exactly what a discovery engagement establishes.
04 What should I do with my result?
Bring it to a call. The band tells you where you sit; the bottleneck tells you where we would start. We will tell you whether that matches what we see in practice and what the first 30 days would look like.

Turn your score into a plan.
Bring the result to a 30-minute call. We will pressure-test it against what we typically find and outline the first 30 days.
